London worshippers increase security guards as Islamophobic attacks persist.
A white man with a shaved head hurled eggs and stones from a silver estate car at worshippers attending late-night prayers at an east London mosque.
Four security guards were in place and they were concerned that the driver may run over the worshippers.
The police had expanded patrols in the area and said…
“We take all reports of hate crime very seriously and have launched an investigation. Incidents like this will not be tolerated and officers will be undertaking enhanced patrols in the area to provide reassurance to the local community and visitors to the mosque.”
