While working her regular shift as a security guard in the lobby of a high-rise apartment building in the Park Manor neighbourhood, Keiona James was shot in the back.
She was assisting a senior citizen when the drive-by took place. It’s awful that she was just doing her job to provide for her family and unfortunate to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Now, she is left with a bullet lodged in her back.
Chicago police are reviewing security footage from the apartment building in an attempt to identify the gunman. I hope they get them.
