Female Throws Drink at Security Guard After Altercation That Sparks Attack
A row between an unidentified woman and a security guard escalated to physical assault. A video captured the moment a woman accused the security guard of threatening to “kick my two teeth out of my head” while poised with a large takeaway drink.
The person recording the footage goads her to, “do it, do it, yeah, dash it then”.
From being spurred on, the woman lobs her drink at the security guard and quickly backs off. The security guard grabs a baton and chases the woman.
Just as the security guard gets close to the woman, she says, “don’t touch me”. But the guard beats her to the ground and kicks her in the back. As the security guard strikes the woman, bystanders express sounds of shock and pain.
Then the security guard begins to walk away. The woman sits up and points at the camera, comments, smiles, and claps. The crowd laugh. That angered the security guard. So he strode back towards her as she shuffles away on the floor. Then boots her in the head and then in the back.
Only then did the crowd voice their concern and stop the security guard.
Subsequently, West Midlands Police have arrested a man in connection with the altercation on suspicion of assault.
